This compact, full-colour, hardcover book was originally published in 1990 (the year of Franklin Paul Rogers' death), but has been republished in 2013 by Lucas Enterprises/Tattoo Archive, revised and expanded to include details of the people and places Paul spoke of in the original text. A historical index of names and places is now included, along with over 150 additional images. Rogers spent more than 50 years in the tattoo business, and was influenced by the people and places he met during his lifetime. In addition to a wealth of historical photos and images, the book contains the original interviews of Franklin Paul Rogers conducted by Don Lucas over several years and is written in Rogers' own voice, in a stream-of-consciousness style.
