Afterlife Volume II - Ft. Chris Garver & Horitomo

in Volume II of the AFTERLIFE series we are proud to present Chris Garver and HORITOMO! Again two tattoo artists whose influence and dedication have changed the face of the modern tattoo world.

With the second volume we wanted to push the boundaries of what we felt was successful with the first book. We believe we have been able to offer something that has never been seen before. We have gone even deeper than in the previous book and added 100 pages more. This book is HUGE, with some 500 pages of interviews and photos from all stages of the work of these incredible artists.

Reading it it is hard not to think that this book may change the way you tattoo. Both artists have gone above and beyond in their willingness to share how and why they do things the way they do. By letting us photograph their notebooks, drawings, tracings, colour studies, etc., you can get an idea of all the work and effort that goes into every tattoo and every decision they make.

AFTERLIFE aims to present a lot of new and unseen works of the artists we present. It is difficult in this day and age to keep up with everything on the internet, but we have done our best to curate and compile a wealth of new work from these amazing individuals.

Over the past two years we have had the opportunity to sit down several times with the artists to conduct in-depth interviews and get a glimpse into their work, practices and lives. Afterlife focuses on the art and the work behind the final product of each tattoo.
